School Closed Monday

I just saw on the Bellingham Web site that school is cancelled tomorrow.

Homework Tonight

All of my students did an amazing job working on their thesis statements today. We had the principals from all four middle schools, people from the district office, and Dr. Baker join us for our lessons today! Tell them congratulations for their hard work and quality participation.

Homework tonight is to just read 30 minutes.

Students that have all their stamps in all of their classes will get to have a celebration tomorrow. We will be supporting students that do not have all of their stamps so they can demonstrate their understanding of the material they've missed completing. Thank you for your support from home!

We will be wrapping up our Mesopotamia unit this week. Students will have a final assessment next week.

Students should have completed their first draft of an informational essay on Friday. The purpose of the first essay was to demonstrate their understanding of the organizational structure of an essay. Students will have multiple opportunities to practice their informational writing skills before their summative essay.
